What to know about TD Bank PDFs
- Daily Account Activity grouped by type
- TD Bank checking statements usually group activity under headings such as Deposits, Electronic Deposits, Checks Paid, Electronic Payments and Other Withdrawals, then give a Daily Balance Summary. Rows come out grouped the same way, so sort by date for one chronological list.
- TD Bank is not TD Canada Trust

- Checks Paid can print side by side
- The Checks Paid section often lists several checks per line, each with a number, date and amount. Confirm every check number came through as its own row.
TD Bank statements are usually text-based PDFs, so the rows themselves are rarely the issue. Expect rows grouped by transaction type rather than in date order.
How to get TD Bank transactions as CSV
Use TD Bank’s activity download for recent transactions and the PDF statements for anything older.
- Recent activity: in TD Bank Online Banking, open the account and look for a download option above the transaction list. Pick a spreadsheet or Quicken format and a date range.
- Older months: save each PDF statement, upload them to BankConv (up to 10 at a time), and export CSV or Excel.
The PDF also shows the opening and closing balance, which lenders and accountants ask for.
What to check after converting
TD Bank prints enough totals to check the result yourself.
- Section totals: add up each section and compare it with the Account Summary at the top of the statement.

- Daily Balance Summary: pick two or three dates and confirm your running total matches.
