Convert Revolut statements to Excel or CSV
If you have the Revolut app, you usually don't need a converter. Revolut generates statements per currency as PDF or a spreadsheet file for the period you choose. Convert the PDF only when that's all you have, for example a statement a client or applicant sent you.

Download your Revolut account statement
- 1.Open the Revolut app and go to Home.
- 2.Tap Accounts below your balance and select the currency account.
- 3.Tap More (...), then Statement.
- 4.Choose the period and PDF, then tap Generate and save the file. Repeat for each currency.
Do you need to convert at all?
The Revolut app generates a statement for each currency account, for a period you choose, as PDF or Excel. Business accounts usually add CSV and bank formats such as CAMT.053 and MT940.
One statement covers one currency. You need access to the account; someone who only receives the PDF can't generate the spreadsheet.

What to know about Revolut PDFs
- One statement per currency
- Revolut issues a separate statement for each currency account, such as GBP and EUR. A currency exchange shows as money out on one statement and money in on the other, so leave exchanges out when you total spending.
- Pending and reverted transactions
- Revolut statements can list pending and reverted transactions as well as completed ones. A reverted card payment can look like spending unless you exclude it. Check the status before you total anything.
- Pockets are folded in
- Pocket activity is included in the main currency statement and can't be exported on its own. Expect transfers to and from Pockets as separate lines.
When to convert a Revolut PDF
If you hold the account, generate the spreadsheet in the Revolut app. Converting the PDF is useful when the PDF is all you have.
- Accountants and bookkeepers: a client sends Revolut statements as PDFs, sometimes one per currency, and you need the rows in Excel or CSV.
- Landlords and lenders: an applicant shares a PDF, and you want to total income or rent payments.
- Saved records: PDFs kept for a tax return, where you no longer use the account.
Upload the PDFs to BankConv, check the rows and export.
What to check after converting
A Revolut PDF statement is usually text-based, with one statement per currency. Check these before you rely on the totals:
- Currency: confirm which currency the statement covers; the £ or € sign on each amount tells you.
- Exchanges: filter for exchange lines and mark them as transfers.
- Reverted payments: remove reversed card payments, or pair them with the original.
- Balance: the last balance should match the closing balance in the summary.

Revolut statement questions
Can I download a Revolut statement in Excel?
Yes. In the app, open the currency account, tap More (...), then Statement, choose the period and the Excel option, and tap Generate. You only need BankConv when you have the PDF but not the account.
Why are my Revolut transactions split across several statements?
Revolut issues one statement per currency account. Convert each PDF, then combine the rows, and leave out the exchange lines so money moved between currencies isn't counted twice.
Why convert a Revolut PDF at all?
Accountants, landlords and lenders usually receive Revolut statements as PDFs. Converting gives them the rows without asking the account holder for a new export.
